Tom Russell

Tom grew up in Clifton, VA and attended East Carolina University where he graduated with a BSBA in Marketing.  After graduating, he decided to continue his education and attend graduate school at Marymount University where he completed his MBA.  Tom started his career in the financial industry with an insurance company in 2014 as a licensed team member and in 2017 he began working in wealth management at Merrill Lynch.  Tom assisted clients with investment strategies, complex trades and services issues.  During this time, he learned to listen to concerns and goals expressed by clients so that he could better assist them.  Tom takes pride in providing a great client experience and enjoys building relationships as well as assisting clients achieve their financial goals. Tom currently holds his Series 7 and 66 registrations.

Tom resides in Virginia Beach, and he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and is an avid sports fan.  Tom is also involved in the community outside of the office.  He currently serves on the Hampton Roads Young Professionals Board for Special Olympics Virginia and the Virginia Beach Community Services Board.
